Administration is my thing, what can I say, I love it. Setting up new systems and processes, helping other people reach their goals, hit their targets and generally smash it out the ballpark is what I do best. I'm the person you didn't know you needed, until now.
I started my career as a receptionist many years ago, working for a Property Developer on the Gold Coast. I worked hard, and I worked a lot, building my knowledge and skills and working my way up. I became Personal Assistant to the Director within a few years. This was a busy and challenging role, assisting Project Managers, Marketing departments, filtering correspondence and phone calls, but I enjoyed it. This position, and the people I worked with, taught me a great deal of valuable skills which I have carried with me. From this role, I stepped into an Executive Assistant position with a Nationwide company. Working with a fantastic team and again, building on my skills and knowledge, learning on the job, I excelled and really felt I made a difference. My growth at this company was limited due to the structure, so I decided it was time for me to grow my wings and expand. Since then I have worked in a varying roles on contract, working on a State project as Project Support officer, as on site Construction Administrator for a National Residential builder, in a well known Animal Welfare non-for-profit charity, and most recently in Allied Health.
My most recent employment role I was a Senior Administrator for an Allied Health Clinic. I built on my already established administration background and specialised in Allied Health administration. I learnt a whole new set of skills and intricacies that come with health admin, billing requirements, regulations, delving into the world of Workcover and DVA, learning a whole new set of skills. Not only was I getting to do Admin which I love, but I was also getting to help people.
What I got from my work experience thus far, was, hey I love admin, and I love helping people.... I enjoy working out systems and processes and I'm good at it, so why don't I put this all together and start helping businesses align their dreams with their goals? From there I started working with individual clients as a Virtual Assistant. I enjoy getting to know my clients, discussing their needs, and helping them achieve their goals, and here I am today. This is Admin and Books by Bec.
I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with my clients, I'm down to earth, and I look forward to working with you. Currently, I am working towards a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, so stay tuned for this addition.
